Part 1: Email Pause Setup (Boomerang for Gmail)

Initial Setup

1. Install Boomerang for Gmail
   • Visit boomeranggmail.com
   • Click "Add to Gmail"
   • Follow browser prompts

Configure Pause Schedule

1. Look on your left panel in Gmail below “Compose”
2. Select "Pause Inbox"
3. Set up a pause schedule to the right
4. Select “Batched Delivery”
5. Set your schedule (example below)

Customize Delivery Rules

1. Set "Delivery exceptions":
   • Emails from your direct boss
   • Emails marked "Urgent"
   • Customer escalations

Pro-tip: Although these are available, I recommend not using them. The goal is to focus. Nothing is rarely life or death.

Emergency Override

• Click "Inbox Pause"
• Pick either option “Temporarily override schedule” or “Enable immediate delivery”
